Organically grown in California, these Medjool dates dry naturally on the tree in the desert heat. They are hand picked and packed without processing. Excellent for eating as is (just watch for the pit). Whole dates are also a popular ingredient in baking or in raw food recipes. Some recipes use Medjool dates to sweeten the dish as a substitute for refined sugar.
